About Mission:Teach
A Matching Service

The goal of Mission:Teach is to provide options for educators and schools. It matches teachers, and other support candidates, to the international schools that need their services.

After posting their profiles on Mission:Teach, candidates receive a “shopping cart” of schools that meet their preferences and schools receive a shopping cart of candidates who meet their qualifications.

A Connecting Triangle

Connecting TriangleSince serving in cross-cultural situations can be complicated, a sending agency, generally called a mission agency, may be involved in making the job placement. Sending agencies serve as the US and Canadian recruiting office for many international schools and other non-traditional education venues.
At this time, the service of Mission:Teach is geared toward teachers from the US and Canada who wish to serve overseas. However, many of our partner schools hire teachers from outside the US and Canada. Mission:Teach-partner schools and sending agencies generally limit their placements to people of faith.

A Safe Place To Explore

MissionTeach.com is a safe place to explore and there is no cost to submit your Personal Profile. You can also opt-out at any time. As you indicate the criteria under which you might serve (short-term, one year, several years, etc.) you will likely find several compelling options.

If you are the spouse of a teacher, we can assure you that both of you can be beneficially used, if you so choose. If you know of a teacher who is interested in serving internationally, help him or her to explore options by recommending they visit Mission:Teach.
